Review: "Something from Tiffany's"

Jennifer Green

With holiday lights twinkling and jazz music wafting through the air, New York City is on glorious display in this passable romantic comedy.

Deutch and Sampson also make a handsome couple in Something from Tiffany's. Both are charismatic and hold the camera's attention, and their individual performances make this film worth watching despite some predictable set-ups and character arcs.

Jojo T. Gibbs offers a great performance as the deadpan best friend, and Jeffries as Daisy proves she's a young actor to watch.

The film can't hold a candle to a classic NYC romance like When Harry Met Sally, but there are some parallels in what a perennially charming setting this city is at Christmastime.
