Jennifer Green launched Films from Afar in 2014 as a newspaper column dedicated to the curation and review of international movies available for home viewing. Her specialization covering the film industries of Spain and Latin America for The Hollywood Reporter and previously Screen International keeps her interested in stories about the global industry. 

 

Most of the pieces on this site were previously published in other media outlets, including The Hollywood Reporter, Common Sense Media, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Seattle Times, SUCCESS magazine, Provoked and the Alliance of Women Film Journalists.
