Films from Afar was launched in 2014 as a newspaper column and blog dedicated to the curation and review of international movies available for home viewing. Most of the "Streaming Curation" entries have previously been published as columns in The Daily Record.

I also contribute film reviews to Common Sense Media, and you can find links to these under under "New Film Reviews." My specialization covering the film industries of Spain and Latin America for The Hollywood Reporter and previously Screen International keeps me interested in other kinds of stories as well. I share some of those here under "Industry Stories."
